Vietnam travel: Mui Ne Sand Dune, top 11 most ideal sand-boarding destinations in the world, Wonderslist,

Recently, the website Wonderslist (US) has announced the top 11 most ideal sand-boarding destinations in the world, of which Mui Ne Sand Dune of Viet Nam is ranked 2nd. 


Belonging to Mui Ne Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province, 22km to the north-east of the city centre, Mui Ne has charming beach with blue water and unique beautiful sand dune in Viet Nam.
Mui Ne Sand Dune was an old iron mine formed hundreds of years ago, spreading over an area of ​​50ha. The sand in Mui Ne has many colors such as yellow, white, gray, ivory, pink, red, black... Mui Ne Sand Dune is also known as the Flying Sand Dune because the sand dune’s shape changes every hour. This is the result of winding and eroding the thin upper sand layer. Mui Ne Sand Dune is the infinite source for many artists and professional photographers to capture stunning images of sand.
In order to develop Mui Ne tourism, Binh Thuan Province licensed to construct golf courses and resorts at the same time plan trees in the sand dune to create beautiful landscapes and contribute to reducing mobility of sand. In addition, Mui Ne also develops various types of sports tourism such as sand-boarding, motor racing, terrain car racing on sand...
The most ideal time to visit Mui Ne Sand Dune is from 5h00 to 8h00 because sand is still cool in this time.

Vietnam travel: Sapa prepares for long holiday rush

The district of Sapa in the northwest province of Lao Cai, one of the top tourism destinations in Vietnam, is expected to welcome about 50,000-70,000 visitors in the upcoming six-day vacation which starts from April 28. 



In order to support travellers, the locality is rushing to prepare for the influx of tourists. 
Accordingly, the municipal Youth Union has provided tour guide training courses for about 250 union members aiming to provide information and instructions to tourists. 
The district plans to open three information booths and hotlines in 35 public locations. 
Moreover, municipal authorities have asked 350 hotels, restaurants and bars in the locality to commit to not raise their prices on the occasion. 
There are nearly 200 hotels with 5,000 rooms and more than 100 homestays in Sapa, according to the municipal Cultural and Information Office.
